Valencia College held a ribbon-cutting event on November 12, 2021, for its brand new, state-of-the-art Center for Accelerated Training. Students, staff, elected officials, and community leaders came together to celebrate this needed community asset which increase opportunities for rapid job training in high-demand careers. Located at 437 WD Judge Drive in the Princeton Oaks industrial park. The Center for Accelerated Training will offer short-term hands-on training for residents to develop skills that puts them on the path to a quality career in a high-demand industry. The center has the capacity to host and train about 600 students in careers including carpentry, forklift operations, apartment maintenance, welding, and plumbing.
