Pine Hills Road Pedestrian & Bicycle Safety Improvements Project

To address safety concerns along Pine Hills Road, Orange County Public Works was tasked to pro­ceed with the redesign of Pine Hills Road from West Colonial to Bonnie Brae Circle. At the same time the NID requested the addition of a Gateway feature at the intersection of North Pine Hills Road and Silver Star Road. The Gateway feature is now 60% through the design phase and will include a low wall, wayfind­ing signage and a gate sign tower. It is expected to be completed in the summer of 2021. Roadway safety improvements including a new inter­section mast arm and signal lights scheduled to be installed by the end of 2021.
