Three Evans High School students had the opportunity to travel to Tallahassee for a week to serve as a Senate Page. Thanks to the Children's Home Society of Florida, Synchrony Bank, and JC Penny, the students were able to spend the week shadowing Florida State Senators, sit in on hearings, meetings, and other events and learn what it is like to serve as a lawmaker at the State level. All three unanimously agreed that the experience was life-changing and furthered deepened their desire to go into public service in the future. Senior Gabrielle Jean-Louis shared that "this program definitely exceeded my expectations because I learned a lot about the senate process and about politics in general."
