Evans High School Alumna Judge Gisela Laurent Appointed to 9th Circuit Court

Another wonderful Pine Hills success story. As an alumna of Evans High School and graduate of the University of Flori­da College of Law, Judge Gisela Lau­rent was named by Gov. Ron Desantis as the first Hispanic woman appointed as circuit judge in the Orange -Osceola Ninth Judicial Circuit. Judge Laurent has maintained her ties to Pine Hills, encouraging students to work hard, to suc­ceed and promoting the importance of following their dreams.
